Biography

Oliver Feeser started playing the piano at the age of six. Very early on he discovered a deep fascination for sound, touch and harmony, spending countless hours at the instrument. While finishing high school, he was already performing regularly and exploring the world of jazz.

At 17 he became a member of the State Youth Jazz Orchestra of Saxony. In 2024 he founded the Oliver Feeser Quartet, with which he won the state competition at "Jugend jazzt" and performed at the national meeting. The same year he was accepted to study jazz piano at university, where he continued to refine his sound and artistic voice.

His playing is strongly influenced by pianists such as Oscar Peterson, Keith Jarrett, Moses Yoofee and Herbie Hancock. Colleagues and mentors praise his precise touch, nuanced dynamics and strong technical foundation. During his studies he worked with teachers like Achim Kaufmann and Kelvin Sholar, while also taking private lessons with Moses Yoofee.

From 2024 to 2025 he led his own pop band "Liebestrunken", touring across Germany and Austria and gaining extensive experience in the pop world. Since 2025 he has focused on his own trio, modern jazz and original compositions, while also teaching piano and improvisation since 2025.
